A very large number of Fulbright scholars that I know personally have not returned to Pakistan as required by the Fulbright program. Instead students have completed 2 years in the US and then tried to find loopholes so that they can work in places like Singapore or Dubai instead of returning to Pakistan. It seems Zeeshan is unlike many other Fulbright grantees in that he has returned to teach in Pakistan. It shocks me that many well educated women and men of Pakistan would try to cheat an organization that is funding them. I know some of them personally and when I confronted some of them they pretend like breaking the rules is not a big deal. Shameful really.
